| HMI offers the most
versatile press or punch end of all machines available today.
The extra large throat depth and height not found on many machines
today allows for an unlimited number of uses. The infinitely
adjustable stroke from zero to 6", 8", or 11" depending on the
model, makes it one of the most valuable and versatile assets you
could have today. Let one machine do that of several.
HMI has designed their press frames to
have less tons per square inch of pressure on their
side plates, thus reducing spring back or alligatoring of the frame.
This in turn reduces tooling wear.

Adapt many of your existing die sets to use in your HMI
and free up existing equipment, or save from having to
purchase that extra equipment. Contact us about
furnishing your die set requirements. |

28XX Tooling:
For small to large 6" diameter holes, almost any size, shape, or
configuration. Round, square, oblong, hexagon, keyholes,
heeled, cornering, trim and part tooling and louvers.
Urethane strippers are available for up to 15/16" diameters. |

Brake Set:
2', 3', and 4' brake sets, these are made of 4150 steel.
The lower 4-way die has openings of ¾", 1", 1½" and 2", so you
can match your material thickness to the die opening to help
prevent cracking in the bend radius. |

Unitized Tooling:
These are self contained C-frame units, in which the punch and
die are held in alignment. The unit can hold a variety of
diameters from 3/32" up to 3½" diameters, along with a great
variety of different shapes, sizes and configurations. Can
be used as a single unit or set up as multiple units. Can
also be used to punch up to ¾" plate. |
